I use to wake up every day, tired and unsure of how I’d make it through the day. I am a mom of 2 young kids. I lived a sedentary lifestyle, and battled with mental health. I tried to fly a kite with my kids and was too winded to ever get it in the air. That was the moment I said enough. When I started, I couldn’t do a squat or run or walk a flight of stairs without being winded. Over a year, all my “I cants” have turned into “I cans”. I still can’t believe that I can run, I can pick up a heavy weight, and I can squat to the ground. Best of all, I’ve heard my daughter say I wanna be strong like mommy. I feel supported in my fitness journey and I’ve made a lot of great friends along the way.
